Hearings and decisions

Whilst employed as a social worker:

          

1.    On 6 January 2021, you visited Family A at their home address whilst under medical advice to self-isolate pending the result of a COVID-19 test.

 

2.    On 11 December 2020, you made a comment during a supervision meeting which was offensive and/or inappropriate, in that you said ‘black people lack emotional warmth’ or words to that effect.

 

3.    Your conduct at paragraph 2 above was racially motivated.

 

The matters described at paragraph 1 and/or 2 and/or 3 above amount to misconduct.

 

By reason of your misconduct, your fitness to practise is impaired.
