Allegations
Whilst registered as social worker:
1. You failed to inform your line manager at Wokingham Borough Council and/or make the required written declaration of your connection to Love.Care Limited and/ or the conflict of interest that arose as a result of this connection;
2. You gave false and/or misleading information to your employer about your involvement with the company Love.Care Limited;
3. Your conduct at paragraphs 1 and/or 2 above was dishonest;
4. You gave false and/or misleading information to New Life Fostering for the purposes of obtaining employment, in that you:
a. Submitted an application form with false and/or misleading content, namely:
i. Included prior work experience as a supervising social worker for an organisation known as Love Care Limited, which was untrue;
ii. Included fabricated details of one or more referees;
b. Failed to disclose a period of employment at Wokingham Borough Council between the approximate dates of 1 September 2020 and 10 March 2022;
c. Failed to disclose a period of employment at Slough Borough Council between the approximate dates of 31 August 2022 and 28 April 2023.
5. For the purposes of obtaining employment with New Life Fostering, you:
a. Were involved in providing, or permitted to be provided, a fabricated Ofsted inspection report when you knew, or ought reasonably to have known, that the report was not accurate;
b. Did not tell New Life Fostering the true position after that Ofsted inspection report had been provided to them, namely that the report provided was fabricated.
6. Your conduct at regulatory concerns 4 and/or 5 was dishonest.
The matters outlined in paragraphs 1-6 amount to the statutory ground of misconduct.
Your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of your misconduct.
