Allegations

While registered as a social worker, between April 2019 and March 2020, whilst employed at Haringey Council as a social worker, you:
 
1.    Did not carry out appropriate risk assessments into the Mother of Family A and Person A’s relationship, in particular following:
a.    Information shared by Child 2 on 5 April 2019;
b.    Information received from a social worker in the team on 19 December 2019
 
2.    Did not work in cooperation with and/or appropriately engage in a timely manner the following parties in relation to Family A’s care:
a.    Family A’s Guardian
b.    The Father of Family A
 
3.    Did not carry out keep safe work with Child 2 until October 2019

4.    Did not initiate a Section 47 investigation regarding Family A in April 2019

5.    Did not carry out announced and/or unannounced visits to Family A within timescales agreed on 7 June 2019

6.    Did not produce a written agreement signed by the mother of Family A as agreed on 7 June 2019

7.    By your conduct at paragraphs 1-6 above you failed to safeguard Child 1 and/ or Child 2.

8.    Provided inaccurate information at a Court hearing on 11 March 2020 regarding the frequency of your visits to Family A
 
The matters outlined at paragraphs 1 – 8 above amount to the statutory ground of misconduct.
 
Your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of your misconduct.
