Allegations

While registered as a social worker, between April 2019 and March 2020, whilst employed at Haringey Council as Team Manager, you:

1.    Did not adequately supervise Colleague A to ensure an appropriate risk assessment of the Mother of Family A and Person A’s relationship was carried out, in particular following:
a.    Information shared by Child 2 on 5 April 2019;
b.    Information received form a social worker in the team on 19 December 2019.

2.    Did not work and/or ensure that Colleague A worked in cooperation with the Father of Family A

3.    Did not initiate a Section 47 investigation regarding Family A in April 2019

4.    Did not adequately supervise Colleague A to ensure that announced and/or unannounced visits to Family A were carried out within timescales agreed on 7 June 2019

5.    Did not ensure Colleague A produced a written agreement signed by the mother of Family A as agreed on 7 June 2019

6.    By your actions at paragraphs 1-5 above you failed to safeguard Child 1 and/ or Child 2
 
The matters outlined above at paragraphs 1-6 amount to the statutory ground of misconduct.
 
Your fitness to practise is impaired by reason of your misconduct.
