The neurodivergent practitioner: an atypical experience of social work
Wednesday 16 March 2022, 2pm to 3pm
Join a group of social workers as they tell their stories of what it's like to be neurodivergent and the challenges and barriers they face. They will talk about the highs and the lows of being neurodivergent and what this really means when working as a social worker.
There will be laughter and tears as they share their lived experiences. You will be brought into the minds of neurodivergent social workers who will share the strengths and limitations whilst conveying the importance of why the profession of social work should be reflective of the society we serve. This includes promoting social work to be an inclusive and welcoming profession that wants to attract neurodivergent people.
