Social Workers Without Borders
Thursday 17 March 2022, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
This session will introduce the work of Social Workers Without Borders and how the organisation uses social work knowledge and skills to work in solidarity with people affected by the UK’s immigration system.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the intersection between immigration policy and social care.
Social workers will have the opportunity to reflect on their professional identity and imagine the possibilities and role of social work in creating a more just and equitable world for everyone.
Finally, this session will be an invitation for social workers and social work students to join Social Workers Without Borders network and use your social work expertise to advocate for a world where nobody gets left behind.
