Social work in England – the past year
Monday 14 March 2022, 12pm to 1pm
Join social work leaders as they reflect on the key issues of 2021, Social Work England’s second year as the specialist regulator and the continued impact of COVID-19 both on social workers and the millions of people they support.
The session will consider new approaches and practices that have worked well during the pandemic and how as a sector we can explore these positive opportunities.
The panel will discuss some of the themes in Social Work England’s second major report into the state of the sector, which was published in January. Social Work in England: Emerging Themes was co-produced with the National Advisory Forum, an independent group of people with lived and learned experience of social work.
