Farrah Khan was born in Pakistan and came to England aged 4 with her family. Farrah is of Pashtun heritage and speaks Pashtu as her first language. Pashtuns are a minority in Pakistan having links to Afghanistan and Iran. Farrah is the Principal Social Worker in Leeds and co-chair of the Principal Children and Families Social Work Network (PCFSW network). After working in Early Years and the Third Sector for many years, Farrah qualified as a social worker in 2002 and has worked in children’s services in a variety of roles since that time.
