Exploring 'professional curiosity' to support social care practice
Wednesday 16 March 2022, 10am to 11.30am
This interactive workshop will describe what professional curiosity is and provide an overview of the evidence to explore why it is important in social care practice.
The workshop will cover both what it means for direct practice and the wider systems in which social care practitioners are working, including what support can enable a professionally curious approach.
There will be the opportunity to share ideas about how professional curiosity can be implemented in practice using a case study and discussion groups.
The session will also cover how professional curiosity relates to the professional standards.
