Dr Ross is a graduate of St Andrews and Oxford Universities and holds a PhD from Keele University in Systems Approaches in Child Care. She also has a diploma in coaching and mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management. She has worked across England, Wales and Scotland as both a social worker and director of children’s and adults services. She was also the chief executive of a large primary care trust in England.
