Social Work Week 2024 Programme: Tuesday 19 March

World Social Work Day

On Tuesday 19 March we will be celebrating World Social Work Day by spotlighting our session below about social work education and practice. We have deliberately left our programme light touch today as we appreciate you might want to celebrate the value of social work with your colleagues, teams and those who use social work services as part of the day.

This year’s theme is “shared future for transformative change” which we think we have captured across the wide range of activities taking place over the week.

This session will be led by the international network PowerUs. They will share diverse perspectives and attendees will be encouraged to consider how we can meet the global aims for social work.
