Get involved in a one-day summit into artificial intelligence (AI) and the future of social work

Social Work England and Skills for Care are hosting a free one-day summit on Wednesday 20 May 2026 in Birmingham. The event will bring together social workers, leaders, AI experts, educators and people with lived experience of social work.

We are now calling for contributors to showcase their work of AI in social work to get involved in the event. We're looking for a varied range of contributors to bring their expertise, insight and experience to the event.

We would love to hear from those who would like to:

• host a workshop
• share research
• offer demonstrations
• take part in panel discussions
